Requirements/Qualifications

The successful Registered Nurse will have:

  • Degree in Nursing

  • Qualified registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

  • Holds a certificate for successful completion of a wound, ostomy, and continence

  • program (NSWOC) from a recognized educational institution; or

  • holds a certificate for successful completion of a Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse

  • (“WOCN”) program from a recognized educational institution; or

  • has completed 75% of the NSWOC certificate

  • Previous work experience in the community or acute care setting with a focus on wound care is preferred.

  • Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
