Research and Practice Co-Chair
Nancy Parslow has been privileged to practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in ostomy and wound management across the continuum of healthcare including community, clinics, a vascular surgery clinic, acute care hospitals, and long-term care facilities. She has worked as an academic advisor for the wound module of the WOC-EP and recently lead the redevelopment of Wound Ostomy and Continence Program for the WOC Institute.
Nancy also participated on several of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) Best Practice Guideline (BPG) panels responsible for the development of evidence-informed best practices guidelines for various wound etiologies and the recent Ostomy BPG revision.
Currently she is the co-chair of the NSWOCC Research and Practice core program.
