Working with VON as an RN-NSWOC can help speed up healing and improve patient care outcomes. VON NSWOC nurses provide holistic assessment, client-directed care, self-care, education and mentorship. They collaborate with community health teams to provide client-centered health care in homes, community settings, and clinics.

VON is currently hiring RN-NSWOC in Brantford, Chatham, Grey Bruce, Hamilton and London locations

Full-time and Part-time Hours Available



Requirements/Qualifications

  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice, and;Completion of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC) WOC-EP program, or;
    International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC), or;
    Master’s prepared Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with formal education in skin and wound care.

  • Three years of experience in the community or acute care setting with a focus on wound care is preferred.

  • A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle required Criminal background check and a vulnerable sector screen required
