We’re excited to announce the launch of the Canadian Journal of Wound, Ostomy and Continence (CJWOC)!
Since its Spring 2025 Issue, the CJWOC is now the official publication of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Canada (NSWOCC). Replacing the NSWOC Advance, this peer-reviewed journal represents an important evolution toward a more scientific and academic-focused publication that reflects the high standards of our wound, ostomy and continence specialty in Canada.
The Canadian Journal of Wound, Ostomy and Continence (CJWOC) is published three times per year in French and English—in Spring, Fall, and Winter—and is available in both digital and print formats. Manuscripts are submitted by both Canadian and international authors.
The journal is indexed in CINAHL and EBSCOhost through EBSCO Publishing, as well as in Cengage Learning/Gale, ensuring wide accessibility for healthcare professionals and researchers.

The NSWOCC Feature Section of JWOCN publishes announcements and short articles related to practice, program development, education, and quality improvement from the Canadian NSWOC perspective.
