Misty Stephens

Misty Stephens started her career as an ICU trauma nurse and then transitioned into being an NSWOC in 2013. Since then she has been working in acute care as the certified NSWOC. She is the chair of BC provincial skin and wound committee and value analysis teams. Misty is the regional NSWOC BC / Yukon director. She is an instructor for the University of Victoria and has co-written the Wound Management for healthcare professional levels 1 & 2. She also works at a private ostomy clinic. Misty has 3 kids and a wonderful husband and in her spare time she likes to travel to their cabin in the Interior of BC for back country adventures and exploring.
