Article: Evaluation of systemic estrogen for preventing urinary tract infections in postmenopausal women
This session will be of particular interest to NSWOCs and SWANs working across wound, ostomy, and continence care. We’ll discuss a systematic review that examines whether systemic estrogen therapy helps prevent recurrent UTIs in postmenopausal women—a question with important implications for continence management, catheter‐associated infection risk, and patient counseling.
