NSWOCC & WOC Institute Continuing Education Webinar: "Simplify and Standardize Urinary Catheter Selection with the new NSWOC Urinary Catheter Decision Aids"
Learning Objectives:
1. Review how the NSWOC Urinary Catheter Decision Aids can help guide NSWOCs, urology nurses and general nurses with appropriate catheter selection for patients across the age spectrum.
2. Describe how patient anatomy, catheter features such as length, material, eyelet type, system and self-management considerations are all integrated into the decision aids.
3. Examine how the Urinary Catheter Decision Aids were developed in collaboration among twenty-four nurses with expertise in the field of continence from professional associations across Canada.

Natalie has experience working in the community and acute care settings as a Nurse Specializing in Wound, Ostomy and Continence care. As the Clinical Lead at Coloplast, Natalie provides clinical expertise in ostomy and continence care.
Karen Campbell, PhD, NSWOC, WOCC(C)
Karen is an adjunct faculty member for the Master’s of Clinical Science in Wound Healing at Western University in London, ON, Canada. She is the past President of the International Skin Tear Advisory Panel (ISTAP). She has functioned as an Advanced Practice Nurse in geriatrics, wound care and continence care. She is core faculty at the RNAO Wound Care Institute. She has been a panel member on multiple international guidelines. Karen has a strong interest in skin health and frequently speaks and publishes on this topic.
