Reporting to the WOC Institute Preceptorship Manager, the Coordinator works with students, Preceptors, clinical placement sites and the WOC Institute team to organize required clinical preceptorships across Ontario.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage and coordinate clinical preceptorships for NSWOC Program students. Each student completes three preceptorships; two courses run concurrently each term, creating a potential volume of 40–60 placements per term.

  • Verify that each student has submitted all WOC Institute placement prerequisites prior to arranging placement.

  • Ensure required documentation (e.g., waivers, HSPnet consent) is signed and uploaded to DualCode.

  • Acknowledge student inquiries by email within two business days.

  • Complete required placement paperwork, finalize preceptorship arrangements, and approve placements.

  • Communicate promptly and professionally with potential preceptors, placement sites, and the Preceptorship Manager as required.

  • Escalate student concerns to the Preceptorship Manager in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate records and placement-specific information for each student.

This is a remote, web-based position with flexible scheduling. The typical commitment is approximately 10–15 hours per week, up to a maximum of 40 hours per month. Workload will fluctuate throughout the academic term, with some periods being busier than others.

The position is offered through a negotiable three-year renewable agreement at $45.00 per hour.
