Job Description
Bayshore is looking to hire a Wound Care Nurse Specialist to join our amazing team. In this role you will be providing comprehensive and specialized Wound Care for our clients to ensure they receive the highest quality healthcare they need and deserve in the comfort and safety of their homes.
Requirements/Qualifications
Education requirements:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, current RN license, registered in good standing with the provincial Nursing licensing body.
Certification as Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC).
Two years previous experience in the development of wound care management programs in the hospital or community setting. Previous visiting nursing experience will be considered an asset. Must have a valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Required Documents (to be submitted before start date):
Registered Nurse who graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
Registered as a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Updated Immunization Records, First Aid & CPR
Current Police Check vulnerable sector Screening; valid within 6 months
Step 1 and 2 TB Screening; Step 1 valid within 3 months; Step 2 record of any date
