Jessica Jones

Jessica has dedicated the past decade of her professional career to advancing excellence in wound and ostomy care. Since graduating from the NSWOC program in 2022, she has remained committed to strengthening the standards, visibility, and impact of the specialty across Québec.


Over the past two years, Jessica has served on the executive committee of her provincial NSWOC organization, currently holding the role of Treasurer. Through this work, she has developed strong professional and collegial relationships with NSWOCs across Québec.


Jessica is currently pursuing a graduate degree in nursing under the mentorship of Chantal Labrecque, President of the RQSP, with a focus on strengthening her research and analytical skills to support evidence-informed practice.


An active volunteer with NSWOCC, Jessica has contributed as a writer, editor, and translator for The Integrity newsletter. She has also supported a range of national initiatives, including the virtual care toolkit, journal club facilitation, and peer review activities. As a bilingual professional, she actively engages with colleagues across Canada, contributing to pan-Canadian collaboration and knowledge exchange.


Her clinical career has primarily focused on community-based wound and ostomy care. In her current role as a wound and ostomy advisor, she has emerged as a leader within her organization, contributing to the development and implementation of programs and protocols that support high-quality patient care across her region.


Jessica’s combination of clinical expertise, leadership experience, academic advancement, and commitment to collaboration positions her well to represent Québec. She is dedicated to supporting NSWOCC’s vision of excellence, innovation, and national leadership, and to fostering a strong, connected, and forward-thinking NSWOC community within the province.
