NIAC's first action items were to develop its mission, vision, competitive compliance statement, and 'NIAC Terms of Reference.' By September 8, 2021, NIAC had finalized these foundational documents. Since 2022, NIAC Members have contributed to the “Industry and Science” Day at the annual NSWOCC National conference. In 2024, Geoff Fournie of Perfuse Medtec was acclaimed as Co-Chair, succeeding Rodney Blair.
