About the event

NSWOCC & WOC Institute Continuing Education Webinar: "Healing is Believing: A Closer Look at Real World Applications of a Total Contact Cast (TCC) System in Offloading Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFUs)"

Widely accepted as the Gold Standard for offloading DFUs and despite the body of evidence supporting its use, TCC remains underutilized in wound care settings creating a gap between evidence and practice.(1) Please join our expert, Dr. Jeffrey Jensen, as we explore the practical implementation and real-world outcomes associated with utilizing TCC in offloading DFUs.

Objectives

  1. Learn from real-world case studies and experiences illustrating the practical implementation of a prefabricated, easy-to-use TCC system in clinical settings.
  2. Provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the clinical advantages of using TCC versus other offloading modalities, and how it can impact personal practice.
  3. Participate in a question-and-answer session.

Presented by

Jeffrey Jensen, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Jeffrey Jensen is currently Dean, Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine, at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.  Dr. Jensen created the “TCC-EZ” – a total contact casting system that is utilized to assist in healing diabetic patients with foot wounds around the world.  Dr. Jensen is also the host of the “Dean’s Chat” podcast that can be found at www.deanschat.com.
