Presented by 


Dr. Kevin Woo holds the rank of FullProfessor at Queen’s University, Faculty of Health Sciences in Kingston, Ontario. He is an adjunct research professor at Western University.

He is known as an established Canadian researcher and educator in the fields of wound management, aging, and chronic disease management. He has published over 160 peer-reviewed papers and received national and international awards for his work.

Dr. Woo serves as the Chair of the Joint Research Ethics Board for West Park Health Center and Toronto Grace Health Center in Toronto. Dr. Woo is a founding member and the president of the Canadian Pressure Injury Advisory Panel, a Canadian organization to advocate for policy change and raise public awareness about pressure injury prevention and management. He maintains an active clinical role in wound care.

Dr. Marie-Claude Lacroix-Boulanger

Dr. Marie-Claude Lacroix-Boulanger is currently working in Lévis Quebec as vascular and general surgeon.  Marie-Claude received her medical degree from Université Laval in Quebec City, general surgery residency in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Fellowship training in Acute care surgery and trauma in Edmonton, Alberta and fellowship training in vascular and endovascular surgery in Ottawa. Marie-Claude is passionate about teaching. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors and travelling.
