From May 12–18, NSWOCC is proud to join the Canadian Nurses Association and communities across the country in celebrating National Nursing Week 2025. National Nursing Week annual celebrations take place from the Monday to the Sunday of the same week as Florence Nightingale’s birthday, May 12.
This year’s theme, The Power of Nurses to Transform Health, shines a spotlight on the vital role nurses play in shaping the future of health care, fostering innovation, and championing patient-focused care. This special week is a chance to acknowledge and appreciate the unwavering commitment and essential work of nurses both nationwide and around the globe.
NSWOCC is incredibly proud of the nurses in our membership—our NSWOCC family. Whether you are supporting patients in wound, ostomy, or continence care, mentoring future leaders, or advancing practice through research and advocacy, you are making a meaningful difference every day.
