In November 2025, NSWOCC was proud to partner with WoundWISE to host two impactful station-based clinical education workshops in London and Toronto. These in-person events brought together clinicians from acute care, long-term care, and community settings for an immersive evening of practical wound care training, collaboration, and professional development.

On November 18th, attendees gathered at St. Joseph’s Health Care London, Parkwood Institute, and on November 25th, clinicians from across the GTA joined us at the BMO Education & Conference Centre at Toronto Western Hospital. Both sessions shared a unified focus: advancing clinical skills “from cleanse to close” through hands-on education grounded in best practices.

Participants rotated through interactive learning stations offering real-world product training and advanced wound care insights across the full wound-healing continuum for both acute and chronic wounds. NSWOC educators led each station, supported by industry partners Biomiq, Coloplast, Mölnlycke, Perfuse Medtec, and Cardinal Health Canada, whose expertise and collaboration helped create a rich and engaging learning environment.

These workshops offered healthcare professionals the opportunity to practice techniques, explore new innovations, and enhance confidence in wound assessment and management, while also connecting with peers across various levels of care. The atmosphere in both London and Toronto reflected a shared commitment to ongoing learning, clinical excellence, and elevating patient outcomes through evidence-informed practice.

A Sincere thank you to our NSWOC educators, our dedicated industry partners, and WoundWISE for making these free educational opportunities possible.

Stay tuned for future hands-on workshops and clinical education events as NSWOCC continues to support nurses and clinicians across Canada with high-quality, practical training experiences.
