Accepted abstracts are seen by NSWOCs, SWANs, hospital & community nurses, and allied healthcare professionals including physicians, RNs, NPs, practical nurses from across the country!

Share your knowledge & findings with NSWOC, SWAN, and other healthcare professional colleagues to improve Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) patient care.

What are Solutions on the Spot (SOS)?
The NSWOCC National Conference wants you to participate in our SOS: Solutions on the Spot session to talk about your challenging patient cases in wound, ostomy and continence.
Don’t miss out on your opportunity to take part in this session dedicated to collaborating with your peers on some of the more challenging cases you have experienced in your clinical practice.
The deadline to submit your most challenging patient case for the “SOS: Solutions on the Spot” NSWOCC National Conference session is March 1, 2023.
The SOS: Solutions on the spot at the National Conference will consist of:
Cases highlighting patients with challenging ostomies, wounds, and continence issues.
Presentation of cases to conference attendees.
Group discussion on ways to manage your patient challenge.
Feedback and suggestions from esteemed colleagues.
Guidelines:
Presenters will be required to speak to a 10-minute power point which includes background information & interventions that have been successful and those that have not worked. Maximum 3 – 5 slides. High resolution photographs are encouraged with obtained patient consent.
10 minutes for discussion from session attendees.
Due to time limitations, only 2-3 submissions will be selected by the NSWOCC conference planning committee.
